Big Boo Hoo – Bye Bye $0.50 Kashi Cookies and Pita Crisps at Publix –

Recyclebank – Kashi – Odwalla
Good News and Bad News

The Bad First.
I’ve been patiently waiting for Publix to put the Kashi Pita Crisps, Kashi Cookies and Kashi Crackers on sale again.  The new yellow Publix Advantage Flyer shows them for $2.50 each on sale.  So I clicked over toRecyclebank and look for the $2 off any one Kashi item coupon.   Well, there it wasn’t.  Yes, I said wasn’t.  This happened a couple of months ago, and the Kashi coupon turned back up a short time later.  So I’m hoping it will reappear when we turn the calendar page to May.
The Good Second.
There are still lots of very good exclusive coupons available at Recyclebank.  There is an Odwalla coupon for $1 off any 1 item, and it’s on special for just 40 points today.  How long does it take to get the 40 points?  About a minute.  In fact, when you are visiting the world map to earn points, look for Japan and you’ll earn 35 points just for uploading a photo relating to recycling.

Publix: Kashi Deal – 50¢ Ending 11/9/11 – Extreme Savings W/Printable Coupon

To All Kashi Fans – It’s Back – 50¢ Kashi Frozen Entrees

Get Your $2 Off 1 Kashi Anytime – Print at Home

One of my favorite coupons has a really good supermarket match-up ending 11/9/11 at Publix Florida stores.  Kashi frozen entrees will be $2.50.  Match that with the $2.00 off 1 Kashi item coupon from Recyclebank and you’ve got yourself one great deal.  Kashi’s entrees are preservative-free with higher nutritional value than most of the other popular brands.  Sprinkle a bit of grated Romano cheese over the Pesto Primavera, and… Bellisimo.

And here’s what makes this deal even better, the $2.00 off 1 Kashi product coupons at RecycleBank are currently only 75 points.  I usually get them for 125 points.  If your new to RecycleBank – it’s all free, all the time, you read some very brief statements or answer short questions that are meant to raise your awareness about recycling and being good to the environment.  10 minutes should be more than enough time for you to get enough points for 2 of these coupons.

Finally, 30 New Points at Recyclebank (= Great Kashi Deal at Publix))

Extreme Savings – No Shelf Clearing – Far From It

I went mini-stockpiling yesterdy at Publix and did quite well, me thinks (and we don’t even have double coupons in Florida).

These are the items for pantry:

  • 4 Kashi TLC Pita Crisps, $1 each (already had 2 at home)
  • 8 Fiber One Cereal, variety, 12.5 cents each (already had 4 other cereals at home)
  • 6 Frozen Gardens Litse vegetable souffle, variety, $1 each
  • 1 Stouffer’s Healthy Harvest Mac & Cheese, family size, 92 cents each (had several at home)
  • 10 Ragu Pasta Sauce, 1.03 each (had 5 jars at home – other brands)
  • 5 Mueller’s pasta, variety, All Free
  • 6 Snackwell’s snacks, cookies, popcorn, variety 84.5 cents each

ALL For $15.02

Plus, while picking up a prescrip at Publix, I bought:

  • 12 Sundown Vitamins, 120+ ea bottle, variety, $1.75 each

ALL FOR $21.38

I bought a bunch of other goodies that get used up quickly like organics, juices, produce dairy, deli, bakery, etc.  Unfortunately, I haven’t figured out how to safely and efficiently stockpile those items so that they are still tasty later.

All in all, the merchandise’s value is $267.30 and I paid $90.01 = 66% savings

Lots of yummy stuff.  Mmmmmmmmm.

Share your stockpiling and your extreme savings with us here.  I’m happy to share any details about the coupons used here in this mini extreme couponing adventure.

Could I have done better?  Of course.  Had I shopped more like the extreme coupon users seen on TV, I would not have bought the fresher items like lettuce, grapes, bananas, roast beef, turkey and Odwalla.  That would have made my total savings 75% (11.37 paid, 44.77 value, 33.40 saved).  But, alas, man & woman cannot live on free Sundown Vitamins alone.
